Pixel-Based Graphics

  • Pixel-based graphics come in .jpeg, .jpg, .gif and many other graphical formats. They are a map of "pixels" used to display an image. Unlike vector graphics, pixel-based graphics become "pixelized" when enlarged. The larger you make the image, the "blockier" and "blockier" it gets.

  • A tablet is a piece of hardware that looks similar to a mouse pad. However, it's far more complex. Freeing designers from the constraints of a mouse, designs become richer, more natural and more detailed.

Vector

This is especially useful when the designer needs to enlarge or shrink the image. Since the projection remains the same, the quality of the image also remains the same.
